About filament.uno
The whole idea of this website come at some point because I was trying to find what filaments I had and I wasn't able to find it. The only thing I found was a whole stack of half full rolls of filament, and a bunch of samples. At that point I decided that it was time to start something on making inventory for filaments. And I wanted it to be not just for myself, but also available for everyone. And that's where filament.uno started.
The idea
The idea behind filament.uno is that it should be as easy as possible to keep inventory of filament. By having as much manufacturers as possible already available to add from, we try to make it as simple as possible. Of course we can't have every list every manufacturer from start, but we hope our users will add more and more. All together we hope to have a complete list of manufacturers and filaments, and from there everyone can add it to their inventory.
We also wanted it to be somewhat entertaining. And that's why we provide the possibility to have public profile. This not only lists how much filament a user has, but also how much has been printed (Or not). You can enable this function in your profile.
Saving the amount of filament used is one of the primary functions of filament.uno. We are trying to make this as simple as well. Currently you can mark a spool empty, or tell that you printed something. We are working on extending this, but this is something for the feature.
If you need any help with getting started, you should look at your help section!

I made filament.uno in my spare time, and host it on a VPS that costs money. While I don't mind paying this, I do appreciate every donation. You can donate to filament.uno in the following ways:
- Get filament.uno PRO within the app. This way you also get some extra features, which are only available via the in-app purchase.
- Become a sponsor on github: https://github.com/sponsors/paul999
- Make a paypal donation: https://paypal.me/sohier
- Make a donation via bunq: https://bunq.me/Paul999
Just as note; Yes, the site will always be free. I am not planning to make any paid features for filament.uno at this point. There is no requirement to make any donation at all. However, we might display ads on the site to help in the costs of running the site. But, keep in mind that some features we do only provide to users that bought filament.uno PRO. These are only features that are adding extra functionality over the inventory side of the site.
